The 2025 MG ZS Hybrid Plus SUV has been officially revealed in the UK car market. This UAE-bound model is the second generation of the mid-size SUV. 2025 MG ZS Hybrid Plus - Design, Features, Engine, & Price Details
The MG ZS SUV is a popular car in the UAE market. MG's strong after-market support and solid build quality of the ZS are loved by new and used car buyers in the UAE. With the new model, MG has revamped the design of the ZS completely. While the dimensions are unchanged, the new front fascia with reworked LED headlights and a new grille, provides a sense of refreshment to its design.
Similarly, the side profile has also seen modest changes to the C-pillar and new alloy wheels. The glass area has also been reworked on the new model. The rear design of the new MG ZS Hybrid Plus is also different than the outgoing model, as it gets new LED taillights, new boot design, and a revamped bumper.
MG cars are known to offer the latest connected tech and the new ZS is no different either. The interiors of the 2025 MG ZS Hybrid Plus are upgraded in multiple ways. It gets a new dashboard with a reshaped AC vent design, a bigger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a new D-cut steering wheel. MG has also offered a 7-inch digital instrument console and a new center console design with a redesigned gearshift lever. Other new features of the new model include - a wireless smartphone connection, type-C charging ports, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold function, an auto climate control system, a 360-degree parking camera, and a wireless charger as well.
Powering the ZS Hybrid Plus is a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine. It is mated to a 45kW electric motor that supplies power to the front wheels in city traffic and variable conditions. However, MG has not revealed the official fuel economy figures of this powertrain. We suspect that the new ZS Hybrid Plus will be more fuel-efficient than the current ZS SUV. For the mid-variants and lower variants, the powertrain will be a non-hybrid petrol engine. All of the engine options are going to be offered with automatic transmission options. The lower variants will also get an affordable manual transmission option.
