2025 Mitsubishi Outlander SUV: all changes explained
On the latest Outlander model, Mitsubishi has revised the styling and appearance of the car. Up front, it gets a new grille design, a new set of LED lights, and a new bumper.
The rear gets a revised bumper design with new LED taillights. The alloy wheels have also undergone a design revision, making them more stylish.
On the inside, the cabin is largely unchanged but it does get minor updates. The first addition is a big 12.3-inch infotainment screen and a Yamaha music system.
Additionally, the centre console has been redesigned for better utility space and convenience. To increase the insulation of the cabin, it now gets better sound-deadening material under the door pads.
Powering the new model is the same 2.5-litre inline-four naturally aspirated engine as before. It is mated to a CVT auto gearbox and produces 181 bhp of peak power.
Mitsubishi is offering the new Outlander with the options of an AWD and a RWD system.

2025 Mitsubishi Outlander Trail Edition: what is it?
The Trail Edition, as its name suggests, is an off-road-centric version based on the standard model. It gets a rough and tough outlook giving it a more hardcore off-road machine appeal.
In terms of changes, it gets a black upper-half portion, including the pillars and roof. Additionally, the various black stripes on the bonnet and the side profile give it a rugged appeal.
Mitsubishi has equipped the Trail Edition with an off-road body kit with big wheel arches and body cladding wrapped in black colour. The rear quarter panel gets a special graphic treatment that displays mountains, referring to the AWD capabilities of the Trail Edition Outlander.
Apart from the roof rails and 18-inch black alloy wheels with BF Goodrich AT tyres, the Trail Edition is similar to the standard car. It does not get any mechanical upgrades specifically meant for off-road driving.
On the inside, the cabin gets a black treatment to provide a more rugged appeal. The design and features are identical to the regular variants.
Mitsubishi has recently showcased the Trail Edition at a private display in the USA. It will be launched in the US market by late 2025.

The new Outlander model is expected to debut in the UAE by the middle of this year. It is a popular car in the Middle Eastern market and the launch of its updated model is inevitable.
Speaking of the prices, the current model ranges between AED 97,000 - AED 153,000 (without VAT). With the addition of a new design and more features, the prices of the 2025 Outlander will be higher by a few thousand Dirhams.
The Outlander Trail Edition will be offered as an optional trim. It is expected to debut by late 2025 in UAE and it will be positioned at around AED 150,000 expected.
