2025 Skoda Kodiaq SUV - price, engine, specs, variants
The new-gen Skoda Kodiaq is now available in three different variants: Selection, Selection Plus, and Sportline. The prices for the 1.4-litre engine options are out and are as follows:
- Selection 1.4 TSI - AED 144,000
- Selection Plus 1.4 TSI - AED 166,000
- Sportline 1.4 TSI - AED 172,000
Mind you, these prices do not include the on-road taxes. Additionally, Skoda has yet to announce the prices for the 2.0-litre engine option variants.
Skoda is offering the new Kodiaq in two engine options - a 1.4-litre TSI petrol and a 2.0-litre TSI petrol. The 1.4-litre engine is suited for city use due to its economical nature and linear power delivery. It develops 150 bhp of peak power and comes with a front-wheel drive system.
Meanwhile, the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine is powerful and offers better highway performance. It develops a peak power output of 190 bhp and it is being offered with a FWD as well as AWD drive systems.
Both engine options come mated to a DSG automatic transmission. The top-spec version also gets the new Dynamic Chassis Control system that improves the cornering capabilities of the car.

2025 Skoda Kodiaq SUV - design, interiors, features, safety
The new Kodiaq SUV now offers the brand new Modern Solid design philosophy by Skoda. It is based on a new chassis and framework, which is an evolved version of the outgoing model.
The primary changes on the outside include the new LED Matrix headlights, a wider grille, and a new bumper. Skoda has incorporated muscular bonnet lines, while the side profile looks simple and elegant.
Additionally, it gets the new alloy wheels with an option of 18-inch and 20-inch rim sizes. The rear profile has a muscular design with a new boot lid, new LED lamps, and a connected taillight design.
On the inside, it gets a revised dashboard with a digital cockpit and a big floating touchscreen infotainment. The seats have been redesigned for more comfort and utility. It is a 7-seater SUV that has the option of split seats for the third and second rows.
Some standard feature upgrades on the new Kodiaq include a head-up display for the driver, a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, wireless phone connection, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charging, triple-zone climate control, 360-degree camera, level 2 ADAS safety, 8 speaker music system, electric front seats adjustment, and more.
Skoda is globally known for making safe vehicles and the new Kodiaq is also one of the safest cars in its segment. It has scored a 5-star crash test rating in the European NCAP testing procedure. In addition to the level 2 ADAS, it also gets 9 airbags as standard.
