The new model of the Suzuki Swift has brought with it massive updates to the exteriors and interiors.
Exterior updates
As visible in the photos, the new-gen 2025 Suzuki Swift is a completely new design. It gets an evolved version of the outgoing Swift's design philosophy. However, it has grown in size as well. The bold shoulder line, sloping roof, and the new front and rear outlook make it stand apart on the road.
The front of the car has new projector LED headlights, a redesigned bonnet, a new bumper, a big front grille, and LED foglights as well. On the side profile, it now gets a 360-degree camera which can be seen on the new shape ORVMs, the new design for alloy wheels, and the handlebar for the rear door has now moved to the conventional position.
The rear design looks like a Mini Cooper now. The new boot lid and the new LED taillights make it look curvy and cute at the same time.
Interior updates
On the inside, the new Swift gets a refreshed dashboard with connected door pads at the front, giving it a seamless feel. Also, it gets a driver-focused cabin along with a new semi-digital instrument console, infotainment system, new HVAC controls, and better features. Suzuki has also redesigned the seats on the Swift, making it even more comfortable than the outgoing car.
In terms of features, it now gets a big 9-inch SmartPlay Pro infotainment system, wireless phone connectivity, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, auto AC, ADAS safety features like adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree parking camera, and much more. The leather steering wheel with the D-cut also looks cool and it gets paddle shifters as well.
Suzuki also offers lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, BA sensors, and more safety features on the new-gen Swift. Additionally, Suzuki has equipped the new Swift with an 'Adaptive High-Beam Assist' function as well as a driver monitoring system which is a first-time in its segment.

2025 Suzuki Swift - engine, specifications, and mileage
The Suzuki Swift has been known for its peppy performance and great handling. With the new Swift, Suzuki has made it even more friendly to family users.
The new-gen Swift is powered by a new Z12 series 1.2L naturally aspirated 3-cylinder petrol engine. It is rated for a peak power output of 82 hp and 112 Nm of peak torque. However, it now comes mated to a CVT automatic gearbox with paddle shifters as well. The claimed mileage of the new-gen Swift is 24 km/l which makes it the segment-topper in the UAE.
There are also rumors that Suzuki will equip this engine with a strong hybrid technology by the end of 2027 globally. This means we could see the Z12 series engine being equipped in multiple Suzuki cars in the coming years.

The new-gen Swift is now available in the UAE via Al Rostamani Trading Company, the official retailers for Suzuki in UAE. It is being offered in three variants - GL, GL Plus, and GLX. The prices of the new-gen Swift range between AED 51,900 - AED 59,900 (excluding taxes).
Suzuki is also offering 7 exterior colour options along with 10 different combinations with black contrasting roofs and ORVMs.

The new-gen Suzuki Swift might not sound very powerful and appealing on paper but is surely a good value-for-money product.
