2026 Hyundai Palisade - new design, luxurious interiors, more features
Refreshed and mature design
The next-gen Palisade is a big step up in design upgrades from the existing Palisade model. The sharp and rectangular LED lights embrace the big, boxy, and masculine design. The front fascia gets multiple vertical LED DRLs and a big front grille with horizontal slats. This design layout seems familiar to the recently introduced Hyundai Ioniq 9.
The side profile gets a big glass area, clean shoulder lines, and 21-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels with low-profile tyres. The big rear quarter glass area and rear overhang are to accommodate the 9 seats on the inside. Hyundai claims to have reduced the front overhang and increased the distance between the axles for a more spacious cabin experience.
The rear profile gets vertical LED lights and a big windscreen with a motion-sensing tailgate. Hyundai has kept the design of the new Palisade simple and humongous. Less is more - this design philosophy feels evident throughout different angles of the new model.
Cabin and features improvements
On the inside, Hyundai has revamped the dashboard design and redone the cabin space management. The new beige-brown leather upholstery is also enhancing the feel of the new cabin layout. The dashboard now gets twin connected screens of 12.9 inches, one for the infotainment and another for the speedometer.
However, Hyundai's decision to keep the physical buttons is now taking over in the new-gen models like the new Palisade too. The HVAC controls are physical, offering an auto AC with dual-zone climate controls. The oval-shaped AC vents and circular door handles look elegant.
Another interesting change is the new three-spoke steering wheel that has a new Hyundai imprint on it. It does look like the new-gen Hyundai Tucson but more bold and beautiful. Hyundai has decided to take off the logo to enhance the simplicity of the cabin. Other visible features in the release images include - ADAS, a 360-degree camera, dual-pane sunroof, wireless charging, etc.

2026 Hyundai Palisade - new engine, better performance, more efficiency
Hyundai has also revised the engine powering the Palisade. It will not get a brand-new 'Theta' 2.5L turbo-petrol engine that will be paired with an electric motor. This means the power output of the new model will not just be more than the outgoing model, but, it'll also offer better drivability.
With the help of an electric motor, Hyundai Palisade will be able to churn out more fuel economy as well. However, the power and efficiency figures are still not disclosed. The current Hyundai Palisade gives a mileage of 10-13 km/l in mixed driving conditions.
