With the latest model, Infiniti has added new hardware specs on the QX80. Based on a ladder-frame chassis, it now gets an adaptive hydraulic body motion air suspension to control the pitching and body roll. Additionally, active dampers have also been added to absorb the undulations on the bad roads. The AWD option gets a low-gear range that helps improve its crawling capabilities through tough terrain sections. For off-road and various terrains, the new Infiniti QX80 is loaded with different drive modes - sport, sand, mud, eco, rock, standard, and personal.

The 22-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and flush-type door handles have improved fluency in the styling of the new QX80. Moreover, the dimensions of the new model are bigger than the outgoing QX80. It is 25mm longer, 87mm wider, and 25mm taller than the outgoing QX80. However, the wheelbase on the new model has been reduced by 25mm. Infiniti is offering 631L of cargo space, which can be further expanded by more than 1,000L by folding the third-row seats.

Improving its cabin experience, Infiniti has revamped the interior design with new highlights. The faux-leather use is evident on the dashboard and door pads, while the AC vents and door pads use high-quality aluminum bits for a better feel. Additionally, the HVAC controls are now touch-based with a big screen embedded into the center console.
