Jeep Wrangler 4xe Willys '41 - design, colour, interior, features
Since the original Willys MB Jeep had an olive paint shade, which also happens to be the default colour shade of the US military vehicles, has been used on the Wrangler. Unlike the old matte-finished Willys MB, the new-gen Wrangler is draped in a glossy olive colour. Additionally, the 33-inch AT steel wheels are also painted in the same glossy olive as the body. The Wrangler 4xe Willys'41 is available in both soft-top and hard-top versions.
The Jeep Wrangler gets removable doors, which act as an off-road tool, and also look aesthetically pleasing as per the old Jeep design. On the inside, the Willys '41 edition Wrangler gets fabric cloth seats, again mimicking the old model MB Jeep. The dashboard gets an olive fabric highlight and the gear selector gets a '41 badge. It continues using the tried and tested 2.0L turbo-petrol engine that gets a plug-in hybrid technology. It comes paired with two electric motors, each at both axles, powering the 4X4 drivetrain whenever required. Not only that, but, it can also do up to 50 km in pure EV mode with the help of plug-in hybrid motors.
This engine generates a peak power output of 375 bhp and a peak torque of 637 Nm. It is mated to a ZF-sourced 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The Jeep Wrangler comes loaded with a standard 4x4 drivetrain. The Jeep Wrangler 4Xe can do 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. Meanwhile, it can reach a top speed of 180 km/h easily.
