Kia Syros compact SUV has been officially revealed for the global markets today. Making its introduction in India, the Syros will be positioned below the Kia Seltos globally. Kia Syros - design, dimensions, interiors, features
The newly debuted Kia Syros is going to be a B-SUV or a sub-compact SUV for global markets like the UAE. It is 3,995 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,665 mm in height, hence, making it smaller than the Kia Seltos.
It gets a radical styling with a boxy design. The front fascia has a closed nose with vertical tri-LED projector lights. The side profile, with 17-inch petal-like alloy wheels, and the big glass area, offer a unique appeal. At the rear, it gets an upright outlook with a big windscreen and sleek LED lights.
While it looks like a Kei-car, the cabin of Syros is spacious and well-equipped. It gets a connected screen display with 12.3-inch dual screens for infotainment and speedometer console. Additionally, it has reclining rear seats with center armrest for better second-row comfort.
Other features include a two-spoke steering wheel similar to the Kia EV6, a 360-degree camera, level 2 ADAS, wireless charging, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, drive modes, auto AC, leather upholstery,and more. The front seats are equipped with electric adjustment and ventilation functions.

Kia Syros - engine, specs, mileage
Powering the new Syros SUV are two engine options - a 1.0L turbo-petrol and a 1.5L turbo-diesel motor.
The 1.0L turbo-petrol makes 118 bhp and 172 Nm of power and torque. It'll be offered with an optional 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Meanwhile, the 1.5L turbo-diesel engine makes 114 bhp and 250 Nm of power and torque and it comes mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission options.
UAE is expected to get the Syros with either the 1.0L petrol or the 1.5L petrol engine sourced from the Seltos. The mileage figures of the Kia Syros have not been revealed till now.

Kia Syros - UAE launch timeline, price, rivals
Kia has not revealed any plans of introducing the Syros in UAE till now. Today, it marked its debut, while the official launch for the Indian market will take place in February 2025. This means, that the UAE can possibly get the Syros by the end of 2025.
As it is positioned below the Kia Seltos, we assume that it will be priced underneath the AED 70,000 bracket. Some direct competitors of the Kia Syros will be the Hyundai Creta, Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and Skoda Kushaq.
