At the ongoing Auto Guangzhou 2024, Dongfeng Nissan has revealed its upcoming electric luxury sedan called N7. It is based on a co-jointly developed new modular platform. Nissan N7 electric sedan - what to expect?
The recently showcased Nissan N7 EV will be positioned in the luxury EV segment. It is based on a new architecture that has been co-jointly developed by Dongfeng-Nissan. This new platform is said to be very efficient and performance-rich. The exterior design of the N7 is sleek and futuristic as it gets chiseled body panels and a sleek connecting DRL at the front. It has a sloping roof line that converges into an upright boot lid, providing a sporty outlook to the rear of the car.
The Nissan N7 electric sedan is 4,930mm in length, 1,895mm in width, and 1,487mm in height; providing big cabin space for comfort and convenience. As per Nissan, it was fully developed and designed in China but the retail plans are for the global markets too. While revealing the N7, the interior details were not disclosed but we can safely assume that it will offer an elegant cabin with spacious interiors and top-notch latest features. It will also feature frameless doors and a light colour theme for the cabin.
Nissan has also revealed that the N7 uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processing chip in its infotainment system, thus, enabling super-fast navigation, infotainment, and other connected features access. Nissan N7 will also come equipped with level-2 ADAS features including a semi-auto navigation system.
As per the official information, the Dongfeng Nissan N7 is expected to launch in China by the first quarter of 2025. Other priority markets like the UAE will get their hands on it in the second half of 2025. This means it can possibly launch in Dubai in 8-10 months.
