What to expect from the Kia EV4?
The new EV4 is going to be a mass-market electric car. It will be positioned below the Kia EV6 worldwide. Kia has kept the design largely similar to the concept car which was showcased back in 2023 at the Kia EV Day.
The EV4 is based on the Hyundao's E-GMP (Global Modular Platform) and it will be offered in two body styles - a hatchback and a sedan. The exterior design of the production car is futuristic and sharp. It has design cues similar to the Kia EV9; including the vertical LED DRLs, chiselled body panels, and a sculpted bonnet design.
On the side profile, the EV4 comes equipped with dual-tone triangular alloy wheels and low rolling resistance tyres for better performance. Its flush-type door handles and real-life ORVMs give a clean outlook.
The rear design of the hatchback and the sedan is different. The sedan uses a unique rear fender design that dissolves into the boot along with a big rear windscreen. It gets vertical LED taillights that look similar to the new Kia Carnival. However, the hatchback gets a connected LED light setup.
The interior details are still unknown but we can safely assume that it will get a large connected screen display and a spacious cabin. Some key features that we expect are wireless phone connectivity, wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, leather seats with electric adjustment and ventilation, etc.

Kia EV4: battery, performance, range, specifications
As of now, the details and specifications of the battery are unknown. However, considering that Kia will position the EV4 just below the EV6, we are expecting it to be equipped with a battery pack between 85-99 kWh capacity.
The expected power output from the different battery options can range between 168-577 bhp. Meanwhile, its total range can be as high as 480 km per charge, depending on the battery size.
Kia EV4: UAE launch details and price
Kia will debut the new EV4 globally on the coming February 27, which is the Kia EV Day. The remaining details about it, including the cabin, features, battery, and performance, will be revealed on the same day.
As of now, we assume that it will be priced at approximately AED 200,000 (without taxes). However, Kia will initially debut the EV4 in the US and other markets like South Korea. The UAE launch of the EV4 can take place later this year.
