The primary change on the exterior of the new S90 facelift is the inclusion of the new Thor-hammer LED lights. These are now sharper and identical to its SUV counterpart, i.e. the XC90.
Additionally, the front fascia now features a revised grille with horizontal slats and new aero dams on either side of the new bumper.

The side profile is largely unchanged, but it does get the new shape alloy wheels.

On the rear, the facelift model features a revised bumper and new C-shaped LED taillights.

Engine, specs, and performance
Interestingly, Volvo has not revealed the new powertrain details of the facelifted model. However, the company claims that its plug-in hybrid range has now increased to 80 km, as opposed to 74 km on the outgoing model.
The Swedish carmaker has also revised the air suspension setup, as the adaptive suspension will now be offered as standard across the S90 facelift range.
2025 Volvo S90 UAE launch and price
The 2025 S90 facelift is bound to debut in China first, as it is the most prominent Volvo market currently. However, we can safely assume that the new S90 will come to the UAE by the second half of this year.
With the new features and design changes, the pricing for the 2025 S90 will be higher than the current model in the UAE. As of now, the S90 range in the UAE starts from AED 204,900.

Our conclusion
The premium sedan market has been slowly dying internationally. Speaking of Volvo, the brand has not launched any significant products for a long time. The new S90 surely brings a flair of change to the company's global lineup, but Volvo needs better products to sustain further.
