The EV3 is based on Kia's latest design language. It is inspired by the bigger sibling EV models like the EV6 and EV9.

 

Offered with a crossover bodyshell design, the EV3 gets unique vertical LED lights and dual-tone alloys for a seamless appearance.

Inside the EV3, the key highlights include a light-theme cabin layout, a tri-spoke steering wheel, and a big trinity curved connected display screen.

 

The connected screen is made up of two 12.3-inch screens for the speedometer and infotainment, respectively. While a 5-inch display in the middle acts as an AC control screen.

Kia EV3 battery, range, specifications

Kia offers two battery pack options for the EV3: 58.3 kWh and 81.4 kWh. The short-range version can do a WLTP-claimed 436 km of range, while the long-range version can cover up to 604 km of WLTP-claimed range.

 

The maximum power developed by the EV3 is 201 bhp, and the maximum torque stands at 283 Nm. 

 

With the help of rapid charging, the EV3 can be charged from 10-80 per cent in 31 minutes.

 

The EV3 also features V2L, which is a vehicle-to-load supply for an external power supply. This feature can be used outdoors in conditions like camping.
